I love reading the Daily Mail for sheer entertainment value , but for proper news, I usually rely on the internet. I read the Herald (usually online) and of course the Courier or P&J in ths area.

I dont think i've bought a newspaper in over a year to be honest. There was a period where I would buy newspapers but found myself knowing the story before I had read it because I had caught it online. I now use a very wide set of RSS feeds (around 50 in total) which I spend around 30 minutes to and hour each day trawling through. From my point of view I think i'm keeping abreast of many different areas of interest and dont really see any need for a newspaper

I usually get all of my news from the internet. I have bookmarked BBC Scotland for Scottish news and I have Yahoo as my home page for new headlines. I also get the top stories from BBC Scotland website. For local news I read the Falkirk Herald. Very occasionally and I am talking blue moon time, I read the Sunday Mail. If hubby is doing a driving job he buys The Sun to read during his break and he brings it home, so just for the sheer entertainment factor I read it the following day!

The Metro - on the bus on the way to Uni!

On average, there's around 6 grammatical/spelling mistakes - and usually at least one occasion where they've repeated a a word, or even one out.

I blame the lecturers who train these reporter types ... Drunken ill-educated monkeys the lot of 'em!

I find myself having to import newspapers from friends in order to line the bottom of the cat's litter tray. Though for a special treat I sometimes buy her a Sunday Times, some of which I read.... Before the cat gets it of course!

The only paper I buy is The Sun on a Saturday because my wife likes the TV mag.

Well that's a first!!! What an excuse....why don't you just come out and tell everyone you just love the fact that you can open The Sun and have staring right back at you a lovely pair of Sudoku puzzles....come on Brian...be a man!! I know I am addicted to Sudoku too....it's nothing to be ashamed of.

In about 2004 BC...(That's before Children)....I used to by the Scotsman everyday....I read it before work, at lunchtimes, and then with my tea at night.

But now we only buy it for the TV magazine on a Sunday.....because have you ever tried to read a paper with 4 year old bouncing off your head. In fact I don't recall ever being able to eat a bacon roll, drink a nice coffee and read the paper on a Saturday in peace!!
