Default New Business Scotland

Hi All,

I just picked up on this through another forum and thought i'd post on here. I know it's still a few months away but time flies and before we no it we'll be well into next year.

NEW START SCOTLAND 2010

Are you likely to register and attend? Why not let us know? Maybe we could treat it as an unofficial SBF networking event to put a few faces to names?

Have a great Christmas and New Year.

Kind Regards

Neil

I would be really interested in going along to this, I would even be interested in attending as an exhibitor if the price is reasonable.

I tried clicking on the free tickets link, only to find information regarding the 'New Business Wales' event - oops, someone hasn't changed the link then!!

I thought the same when clicked the link, I just wanted to make everyone aware of when it was on.

Not sure if anyone else have received a text message advising of the availability of tickets for this event?

NEW START SCOTLAND 2010

Thought i'd re-post to raise awareness for some of the new members.

Kind Regards

Neil

Just a quick response to those thinking of going to New-Start Scotland (at SECC this weekend)... I'm only speaking from personal experience, but we've always really enjoyed the show, having attended for some time, and since last year - as an exhibitor...

It's not cheap (to exhibit that is! - visitors get in free!), but we made a great return on investment last year, and hoping to do the same again... This year I'm also doing a couple of seminars for them, so looking all the more forward to it.

If anyone from on here makes it along, please come say hello (we're on stand D2 - right by the entrance!)

Gary

I'll be along on Friday with my sales manager in tow, I'll make sure to say Hi again Gary!

I went along last year for the first time and it was very interesting, and gave me my first introduction to networking with people, and asking for referrals (these things may feel natural to salesy type people, but not to techies like me!)

My major criticism of the event would be on their ridiculously aggressive marketing campaign - I got an email and registered when the tickets were first issued, but I still get emails and text messages reminding me to register for it!

I did send a stop on the mobile ones, and am thinking about unsubscribing from the email one - simply cross reference the fact that this email address has already registered for a pass, so don't send registration reminder mails!

I didn't make it today - a more important appointment got thrust my way, and had some stuff to do back at the office anyway - will hopefully pop along tomorrow though.
