They are just a bunch of namby-pambies, they're roped up. After providing safety cover at the Glen Nevis river race, we used to jump into the pool from the bridge over the river. Don't ask me how high it was, but it was a long way and it hurt if your neoprene wet suit rolled up your legs with the force of hitting the water!
