Default New Ayrshire Photography Company.

Hi,

I'm Kevin, i would just like to introduce myself here - It looks like a great place to learn some things about business.

I've started a photography company of my own after many years doing it as a hobby (whilst being many other things including a fire alarm engineer and gas turbine technician).

So far I've had a few jobs: web site & brochure material for a CNC company, a shoot with a lamborghini gallardo, family portrait, passport photos (no job too small), recording studio shoot for a glasgow musician.. So it's going ok, a little slow but i'm sure i'll get there.

My website is still in the updating, finalising the layout sort of stage, then i'll upload more gallery photographs but feel free to have a look and share your comments - all opinions are greatly appreciated.

Anyway, glad to be here and if I can help I will!

Kevin.

Gordon, It's how the rating of quilts are measured and it's also short for phoTOGrapher.

Kevin, things up my way are quite good at the moment. My site was done by Stugster on here quite recently. I did have an amazing internet site before this one but Stugster is building in some better fuctionality.

Thanks Barry, If i have any questions you'll be the first i'll ask (so be prepared! joking).

Brian, yeah, it's a never ending thing trying to keep on top of it and keep it updated and fresh looking. I still can't decide on a good way to display a gallery at the moment.. still looking.

Totally agree with you Kevin. Keeping on top of uploading new images is something I need to get a grip of. Once Stugster has made a couple of tweaks to my site It should be easier. As far as gallery software is concerned, I think simpleviewer is the most used one. I'm looking at the slideshow facility in Lightroom and in Pro Show to try and do something a bit more funky. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Kevin,

Welcome to the forums!

Brian keeps subtly suggesting I work on his site; maybe, just maybe, I'll have another bash tomorrow

So what's Brian short for then?
