As I DIY alternative to commercial SEO, I quite like IBP (it has some good built-in ethics which will prevent you from being labelled a spammer or black-listed by Google). There's no substitute though for a professional job

I don't think that unethical SEO's would bother to read through the page Kevin or care about it's existence, spammers spam to gain an advantage using whatever means possible, most professional SEO's know the value of walking the line with a foot on either side imo.
