Hi Andrew, sorry for lack of response, but I have just got aroung to playing with the plugin - I stripped off an old ecomm site that was doing nothing in terms of business and uploaded a Wordpress installation and also the e-commerce plugin.
This was a little after 5pm tonight, it is now just after 9pm and have managed to upload and have ready-for-sale 3 products.
I haven't done anything to tart it up, i mean the ecomm part of the site, I haven't downloaded any additional plugins to work with the cart.
Payment options are Paypal, Google Checkout or Chronopay, that's it. I opted for Paypal to test the site, I normally use SagePay for bigger sites.
In the end its a useful little plugin that does offer additional extras at a cost. Its not a serious contender towards some of the big ecomm carts but it does have its uses and like I said fairly straight forward to have up and running.
Here's my effort so far :

I haven't started posting any blogs to it yet, but that'll come.
1 really useful thing it does offer is the ability to co-exist with any affiliate campaigns you have running, so instead of sending them to a view cart/checkout page send them to your merchants page.
