Default Finding the good keywords

Keywords is an area I really struggle with. Can any body give me a process for checking and idnetifying good ones. I know there's things like Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery but i'd love to see some sort of excel approach to identifying them and then funnelling it until you get to the best 20-30.

Hopefully some of you will have come accross what i'm looking for

That's an excellent tool. I'll need to revise my keywords.

me too, i have just realised as well that i've made such a stupid mistake

I recently gave my website a make over and i managed to replace all my keywords for each page with the same ones

So i now need to go off and try and remember what i had before.

I bet google penalise me for it as well,

i was on page 3 for web design edinburgh, and now i've fallen to page 7 ,

me no happy

I have had over 8 million visitors in the last 12 months to a website of mine due to organic SEO so it certainly has it's uses.
