Not in a blue fit....

I kept schtumm when I saw this post originally as I wouldn't want to discourage either the producers or those who might see this as helpful. But it did occur to me that the LAST thing ANY business wants to do is draw attention to the fact it's struggling! Especially in the midst of a credit crisis where borrowing is hard to come by and confidence is low....

Perhaps a more positive slant from the producers would be better?

There was a previous show done a while back on a failing Hairdressers. The television company turned it into an all singing, all dancing beauticians, with manacures and all that fancy stuff that Barry's into.

The publicity and the complete change in their business model actually helped them to succeed (although I don't know for how long).

However, would one want to completely change their business just to ensure a bit of success in the short term?
