Default Debt Recovery in Scotland

Hi all,

wondering if someone can recommend a debt recovery expert in Scotland?

Unpaid rent on a couple of commercial properties in Glasgow.

We're finding "door step visits" are effective in getting the money (i.e. its a case of won't pay rather than can't pay) but I don't have time nor the nature to continue doing it.
Not after a nutter just need someone professional who would presistently chase by telephone a few times then pay a visit. At same time don't want a call-centre thats going to send out generated letters etc - fuel for the fire with most of the folk we deal with just now.

thanks.

Hi,

You might want to introduce yourself in the relevant part of this site

Just so we can get an understanding of who you are and what type of business you supply (maybe even business name).

This may help you get a response for the services you require.

Kind Regards

Neil

thanks Neil, fair point and I'll do a little intro on the intros page. I'm a sole trader and would rather not put up my full name (its a very Google friendly surname!).

I work for myself as a project management consultant but question is related to 2 investment properties - which are in my name rather than related to a Ltd company as such.

Sorry if I've blundered past forum etiquette!

Mark.

Stirling Park are based in Kilmarnock. As they do the Court Sherrifs letters, a £35 letter from them can achieve outstanding results.

Mark,

It does sound like you will need a sheriff officer to carry out something like this. How are your leases structured on these commercial properties surely there is a procedure involved in giving tenants notice etc?

I work with Alex M Adamson on a regular basis who are very good at what they do and are very professional. I'd rather not post my contacts details here in public but feel free to PM me if you want the details and I will happily provide them
